Welcome!!   Our breeding schedule has been updated on 01-24-2012. Our results from our latest CAE test done in December 2011 are back and all are negative.

WE ARE HOME FROM THE 2011 ADGA NATIONAL SHOW AND ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE OUR WINNERS...  NATIONAL JUNIOR CHAMPION...  J-NELS O TWITTER.    NATIONAL SENIOR RESERVE CHAMPION...... J-NELS ER DUMPLIN.  FIRST PLACE YEARLING MILKER....J-NELS O BUTTERCUP.   DUMPLIN AND BUTTER CUP WERE ALSO FIRST PLACE DAM & DAUGHTER!!  ALSO PLACING IN THEIR AGE CLASSES WERE J-NELS SM DIMPLIN 4TH PLACE INTERMEDIATE KID, GYPSY MOON ST PETEY 2ND PLACE SENIOR KID, AND IN THE SENIOR YEARLING CLASS J-NELS GP VIENNA 5TH, J-NELS GP KANDY KANE 9TH AND J-NELS HM KOOKIE DOE 12TH.

In 2012 we will be on standard milk test again, and once again have our herd Lineal Appraised.  We also are planning to compete in the ADGA National Show.

We only had four does appraised in 2011.  Everyone else was dry.  Two were stale and two were almost too fresh. Still everyone fell into the Very Good and Excellent ratings!!

Our Nigerian herd is small but promising. We are striving to breed the ideal miniature dairy goat. We desire structurally correct does with well attached capacious udders.

We test all of our animals for CAE on a yearly basis and remain CAE free - latest test results DECEMBER 2011.  Our herd is TB and Brucellosis certified and we participate in the volunteer scrapies program.

After a tremendous ride with our Nubians and Alpines, we have decided to turn our attention to our Nigerians. We only have two standard breed old girls left,  Gum Drop and Raspberry. They will live out their days with us. They have given us many joyful memories and we are now honored to look after them.

We realize that breeding is not an exact science and not every animal turns out exactly the way we had hoped. You will not find lofty descriptions of our animals. We will do our best, however, to accurately describe our individual goat's strengths and weaknesses.
